Description

Volume One - The Illicit Stills - Matured in a mix of port pipes, sherry hogsheads and ex-bourbon casks using lightly peated, heavily peated and unpeated malt. The Illicit Stills is a limited release of just 8,700 bottles, which pays homage to The Isle of Arran's past, as it was infamous for the production and smuggling of illicit whisky during the 18th & 19th centuries. 56.4% ABV, 70cl.

Volume Two - The High Seas - The single malt was matured in a combination of rum casks and first-fill bourbon barrels. This is one of 8,700 produced. 55.4% ABV 70cl.

Volume Three - The Exciseman - The single malt was matured in bourbon quarter casks and Madeira casks. This edition "pays tribute to the exuberant character of those striving to outwit the Government’s representatives"! 56.8% ABV, 70cl.

Arran distillery, founded in 1994 by Harold Currie formally the director of Chivas, is loacted in in Lochranza, Scotland and is the only distillery on the Isle Of Arran.
