Description

This 20 year old was bottled for the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club in 1991 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its Royal status. The club clearly had access to some fantastic casks through their Commodore at the time, a certain David Urquhart.

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland, owned and run by the Grant family.

The distillery was first granted a licence in 1836 and now has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners. 

The company was named Distiller of the Year by Whisky Magazine in 2006. 

Glenfarclas translates as meaning 'Valley Of The Green Grass.'
