Description

Distilled at the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, this expression has been matured for 16 years with an undisclosed length of time finishing in a Manzanilla sherry butt. Bottled in early 2020, there were just 671 bottles produced at a cask strength of 51.8% abv. free from chill-filtration and artificial colourings.

Ardbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands.

The distillery has been producing whisky since 1798 and is owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.
