This is a very rare old independent bottling of Laphroaig for the US market. A single pot still, unblended 12 years old bottled at 91.4 proof by Munro Watson & Co. Glasgow and imported to the US by The Carlton Co. Baltimore, MD.

Laphroaig Distillery, founded in 1815, is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Port Ellen.

It is named after the area of land at the head of Loch Laphroaig on the south coast of the island of Islay.
